• You might find the cap and body difficult to unscrew for the first time you try due to locking threads - once you unscrew the pen, it will be easier in subsequent attempts

• Be patient getting the ink to flow when your pen is new - shake the pen several times to encourage the flow

• Adjust the location of the nib and feed to improve the flow - slide the nib back and forth over the nib, and spin the nib and feed inside the pen

• Store the pen with the top tilted up to prevent ink leaking out of the pen and into the cap. Twist the clip on the cap to expose a small hole when uncapping the pen. This relieves any suction. Cover the hole when storing the pen so ink or paint doesn’t leak out.
